June 27 event to feature Christian musicians

‘‘Ignite the Night” is an outreach event that includes Christian rock, rap, hip-hop, contemporary and praise and worship teams from the local churches. There will also be a feature band, Willet, from Westminster that has shared the stage with other big-name Christian groups and events nationally. For more on Willet, visit www.willetonline.com.

In addition to music, there will be three speakers with a positive message geared toward middle school- and high school-age teens.

There will also be community and youth group displays to promote involvement for the area’s youth.

Ignite the Night will be held June 27 from 5 to 10 p.m. at the county fairgrounds in Leonardtown. Admission is free.

Church groups will be selling food and drinks to raise funds for mission trips, summer Christian camps and other outreach activities.

Area youth are invited to attend, bring lawn chairs, blankets and families.
