BOWIE –– As he stood at the edge of the pool, Westlake swimmer Andrew Nguyen, competing in the boys 9- to 10-year-old division, stood hunched over while his hands held the cement boundary of his water domain. He stood, motionless, waiting for the announcer to signal the start of the 50-meter freestyle during Saturday’s Prince-Mont Swim League All-Star meet hosted by Belair Swim and Racquet.
The color of the leaves is not the only thing set to change with the fall season approaching.
