The ceremony was held May 5 at the Charles County Courthouse. They got married on the day that they celebrated 17 years together.

The bride graduated in 1993 from Thomas Stone High School.ÊShe is an administrative assistant at Carmike Kitchens in La Plata.

The groom graduated in 1993 from La Plata High School.ÊHe is an operator for the Charles County government roads division.

They reside in Cobb Island where the bride is the president of the Cobb Island Garden Club.
