Our baby is going to kindergarten

Our little girl has autism but has worked through her roadblocks to make stunning progress over the past few years. We couldn’t be prouder if she was graduating from college this week.

She has worked very hard to get to this point and we have many to thank for her wonderful development but we cannot offer thanks enough to the excellent and caring staff of the F.B. Gwynn Educational Center.

Everyone there has treated her like their own child and from all accounts will miss her as such as she moves forward in her life’s journey.

We are not so naive to believe that there is not a tough road ahead but we know that these wonderful folks have provided her with the groundwork she’ll need to become the best person she can be.

We won’t name individuals for fear of leaving someone out but rest assured that our gratitude to the educators and staff at the Gwynn center is simply immeasurable.

We hold the sincerest hope that the board of education and the county as a whole realize what dedicated and talented people we have supporting our children.
