Sharon Caniglia and Kenneth Caniglia announce the marriage of their daughter, Jill Christine, to Robert Harrison Springer, son of Richard and Rita Springer.
The couple married on Nov. 1, 2008, at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Bryantown.
The Rev. Joseph Kleinstuber officiated.
The bride wore a strapless gown and a cathedral length veil, which was handmade by her mother.
She carried a handkerchief stitched with flowers from her mother's and grandmother's wedding gowns.
The bride was escorted down the aisle by her mother and father.
Catherine Manofsky, the bride's sister, served as the matron of honor.
Sheila Burroughs, Miki Fett, Candice Hester and Traci Toman, all friends of the bride, served as bridesmaids.
The brides's cousin, Sara Weingarden, was the flower girl.
Andrew Springer, the groom's brother, served as the best man.
Groomsmen included Charles Albert, Harland Brown, David Payne and Brian Wood, all friends of the groom.
The bride's cousin, Seth Weingarden, was the ring bearer.
Christopher Caniglia, the bride's brother, Matthew Manofsky, the bride's brother-in-law, and Bethany Springer, the groom's sister, read during the ceremony.
A reception followed the ceremony at Woodlands Grill in California.
The bride is a graduate of Thomas Stone High School.
She received a bachelor of arts in journalism from the University of Maryland, College Park, and a master's of fine arts in visual communication from George Washington University.
She is a project manager with Visions, Ink and a documentary wedding photographer with Sandi Foraci Photography.
The groom is a graduate of Bishop McNamara High School.
He received a bachelor of science in business and a master's of business administration from Virginia Tech..
He is a finance coordinator for St. Mary's County Public Schools.
The couple honeymooned in Punta Cana in the Dominican Republic.
