Anthony W. Jaskulski, 81, Huntingtown

Anthony W. "Tony" Jaskulski, 81, of Huntingtown died peacefully June 28, 2009, with his loved ones at his bedside at Georgetown University Hospital in Washington, D.C.

Born in Erie, Pa., he resided in Piscataway, N.J., before moving to Maryland in 1971.

He proudly served his country with the U.S. Army 76th Engineer Corps during the Korean War.

He was employed at Art Color Printing in Dunellen, N.J. and the Defense Mapping Agency in Brookmont.

He was a member of Jesus the Good Shepherd Roman Catholic Church in Owings.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Anthony and Mary Jaskulski.

He is survived by his wife of 54 years, the former Elizabeth Sator; daughters, Susan Herrin and her husband Rick, Bonnie Bryant and her husband Daniel; sons, Anthony and Thomas Jaskulski; grandchildren, J.R. Herrin and his wife Beth, Stacey Herrin, Jason Bryant-Mason and his wife April, Elizabeth Bryant, Denise, Janice, Ashley and Thomas Jaskulski; great-grandchildren, Olivia and Elijah Herrin, and Bethany Wilson; his sisters Mary Zajac, Irene Butrico, and Theresa Bielinski; and brother John Jasley.

The viewing will be Sunday, July 5, from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. at Lee Funeral Home in Owings.

Mass of Christian Burial will be Monday, July 6, at 10 a.m. at Jesus the Good Shepherd Roman Catholic Church in Owings.

Burial will immediately follow in Prince Frederick.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Huntingtown Volunteer Fire Department, P.O. Box 482, Huntingtown, MD 20639.
