Martin Sylvester McClenahan, 89, of North Beach, formerly of Pitcairn, Pa. and Huntingdon, Pa., died June 28, 2009.
He was a devout Christian and a deacon at First Presbyterian Church of Irwin, Pa.
He was a 32-degree Mason, a life member of the Elks Lodge, a volunteer fireman and an ambulance driver for Pitcairn Hose Companies 1 and 2.
He was also an electrician for the Gateway school district in Pennsylvania.
He was a handyman and enjoyed wood working and spending time with his family and his son's dog, Brador.
He was preceded in death by the love of his life, his wife, Melrose.
He is survived by his son, Timothy Martin McClenahan and his wife, Fran; grandson, Timothy Mark McClenahan his wife, Andrea; and great-grandchildren, Rebecca Elizabeth and Timothy Joseph McClenahan.
Visitation will be Tuesday, July 7, from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. at the Lee Funeral Home in Owings. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, July 8, at 10 a.m.
Interment will take place at Southern Memorial Gardens in Dunkirk.
