Summer supper
All Saints Episcopal Church will host its 65th annual summer supper from 1-8 p.m. Aug. 2. The menu includes crab cakes, ham and chicken. The church is at 100 Lower Marlboro Road, Sunderland. Tickets are $18 for adults and $9 for children between 6 and 12. Five and younger get in for free. Call 410-257-6306.
Leonardtown’s First Friday
The event is from 5-8 p.m. Aug. 1. Businesses in downtown Leonardtown stay open late. Art events include the ‘‘Community Art Show” at North End Gallery and the ‘‘Art of Joan Humphreys” at Heron’s Way Gallery. Art and music from 7-10 p.m. at Room With A Brew (23976 Point Lookout Road). Childrens Day
The event is from 11 a.m.-2 p.m. Aug. 2 at Clement’s Island Museum. Children can meet members of the 7th District Volunteer Fire Department and Rescue Squad as well as members of St. Mary’s County’s Sheriff’s Office, Memorial Library and Health Department. The St. Mary’s County Sheriff’s Office will do a police dog demonstration at noon. There will be heritage games, a tractor pull, face painting and crafts as well as a performance by Reggie Rice, known as Super Magic Man. The water taxi to St. Clement’s Island begins at 11 a.m.; there is no fee for children. St. Clement’s Island Museum is at 38370 Point Breeze Road, Coltons Point. Call 301-769-2222.
Photo scavenger hunt
Registration for a photo scavenger hunt to celebrate Charles County’s 350th anniversary is from Aug. 1-25 at Nanjemoy Community Center, where participants can get a list of scavenger hunt locations and the rules. The deadline to submit photos is 6:30 p.m. Sept. 8. Receive clues by sending an E-Mail to webmail@charlescounty.org with “Scavenger Hunt Clues“ in the subject line.
