I was glad to see Peggy Bailey’s letter in the July 11 Enterprise. It brings to mind a question I’ve had for some time. Just what makes St. Mary’s City historic? Everything there is rebuilt, such as the rebuilt state house to the currently being rebuilt chapel. The only thing historic is the dirt it all sits on.
