Louis Marshall Thompson Jr., 84, of Avenue died Aug. 4, 2008. The family will receive friends Aug. 7 from 5 to 8 p.m., with prayers at 7 p.m., at Mattingley-Gardiner Funeral Home in Leonardtown. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Aug. 8 at 9:30 a.m. at Holy Angels Catholic Church. Benton ‘‘Bud” Carl Zander, 70, of Leonardtown died Aug. 1, 2008. The family will receive friends and a memorial service will be held Aug. 9 at 11 a.m. at Trinity Episcopal Church in St. Mary’s City. Interment will be at the church cemetery. Arrangements are being provided by Brinsfield Funeral Home. Roland Wayne McCready, 59, of Hollywood died Aug. 1, 2008. The family received friends Aug. 5 at Brinsfield Funeral Home in Leonardtown, where a funeral service will be conducted today, Aug. 6, at 11 a.m. Joseph Albert ‘‘Big Joe” Green, 79, of Lexington Park died July 30, 2008. Family will receive friends today, Aug. 6, from 5 to 8 p.m. at St. Cecilia’s Catholic Church in St. Mary’s City. Prayers will be at 7 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Aug. 7 at 10 a.m. at the church. Arrangements are being provided by Brinsfield Funeral Home.
