It is refreshing to know that there are still business men and women around us who are concerned about the people of their community and not ruled by the ‘‘almighty dollar.”
I am referring to the Charlotte Hall branch of O’Brien Real Estate and the Charlotte HallMotel.
They truly care about the troubled youth in our tri-county area who need foster families.
For several years they have been very instrumental in helping Alternatives for Youth and Families find foster parents for these youth.
This spring and summer alone, they have brought in 98 percent of our inquiries and applicants.
I believe your readers need to be encouraged that there are still businesspeople who have a heart of compassion in the midst of a world of financial gain.
