Gwen P. Ford, 49, of Waldorf died of natural causes July 19, 2008, at Washington Hospital Center, Washington, D.C.
Born April 28, 1959, in Cheverly she was the daughter of Bernard L. Pinkney and Gwendolyn Ford.
In addition to her parents, she is survived by her son, Derrick Ford; daughter, Shawntis Smith; sisters, Harriet and Ella; brother, Perry, Pat, Ellsworth; and Eric and other relatives.
Visitation will be held from 9:30 a.m. until time of Mass of Christian Burial at 11 a.m. Aug. 6 at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church, Clinton. Burial will be private.
Pallbearers will be family and friends.
Arrangements are being handled by Adams Funeral Home, Aquasco.
