Geraldine ‘‘Linda” Tucker, 56, of Belcamp, formerly of La Plata, died Aug. 3, 2008, at the Upper Chesapeake Medical Center.
Born Aug. 16, 1951, in Washington, D.C., she was the daughter of the late Carlysle V. Tucker and the late Evelyn M. Moffatt.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Dwayne D. Dickerson.
She is survived by her daughter, Shannon Tucker; brothers, Thomas T. Tucker and Carlysle V. Tucker Jr.; and sister, Patricia A. Cozzens.
A life celebration will be held from 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. Aug. 7 at Arehart-Echols Funeral Home, La Plata. Mass will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m. Aug. 8 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, La Plata. The Rev. Ronald Potts will officiate. Burial will take place at the church cemetery.
Arrangements are being handled by Arehart-Echols Funeral Home.
