Louis Marshall Thompson Jr., 84, of Avenue died Aug. 4, 2008, at his home. Born July 20, 1924, in Dynard, he was the son of the late Louis Marshall Sr. and the late Catherine Eleanor Harris Thompson.
He is survived by his wife, Rose Lee Thompson of Avenue. Visitation will be held from 5-8 p.m., with prayers at 7 p.m., Aug. 7 at Mattingley-Gardiner Funeral Home, Leonardtown. Mass of Christian Burial will be at 9:30 a.m. Aug. 8 at Holy Angels Catholic Church, Avenue. The Rev. William Gurnee will officiate. Burial will take place at Sacred Heart Cemetery, Bushwood.
Clifford Stack, 81, of Waldorf died Aug. 4, 2008, at Civista Medical Center, La Plata. Arrangements are being handled by Raymond Funeral Service, La Plata.
