The Southern Maryland Athletic Conference announced its 2006-07 academic all-conference teams. The criteria for the awards are as follows: The grade point average is cumulative for the entire year. The student-athlete must have lettered in a varsity sport. First-team all-conference is a grade point average of 3.50 or better for the entire year. Second-team all-conference is a grade point average of 3.00 to 3.49 for the entire year.
