In this time when we hear so much about bullying and "mean girls" it was a pleasure to read (Oct. 23) about the kindness and caring exhibited by the cheerleaders at Chopticon High School to make Serena Wade's dream come true.
Those girls must have felt a warm glow in their hearts for making the effort to help a little girl.
I felt a warm glow reading about it, and it was an inspiration to me to try to help others whenever and however I can.
It is very reassuring to think that these young women will be tomorrow's grown women, and they have already begun to help make their world and ours better. Go girls!
