Thompson, Neitzke engaged

Joseph Ronald and Sylvia Marie Thompson of Leonardtown announce the engagement of their daughter, Denise Michelle Thompson, to Christopher Michael Neitzke, son of Michael Eric and Marsha Ann Neitzke of Mechanicsville.

The bride-to-be is a 2001 graduate of Chopticon High School. She received her associate's degree from College of Southern Maryland in 2006. She is working toward her bachelor's degree in business administration at University of Baltimore. She is employed with Community Bank of Tri-County in Leonardtown as a training manager.

The groom-to-be is a 2002 graduate of Chopticon High School. He attended College of Southern Maryland and is working toward his bachelor's degree at University of Maryland University College. He is the owner of Neitzke Home Improvement Inc.

The couple is planning a fall 2010 wedding.
