Towson recognizes graduate students

Towson University graduate students gather after being honored by the university for completing requirements toward their master's degrees at the Southern Maryland Higher Education Center in August. The 11th annual Towson University Recognition Ceremony recognized Trudy Bainter, Tammy Biegner, Christine Cavnor, Michaela Davis-Rigney, Kimberly Dunkin, Christen Ganley, Brenda Hayes, Michelle Hirtz, Regina Ianni, Jennifer Krex, Athena Lewis, Carrie Morrissett, Emily Turner, Jennifer Venendaal, Angela Villanueva, Jennifer Walker, Meghan Wallace and Tracie Wiesemann. Approximately 100 guests honored the 18 students attending the ceremony. Towson faculty members in attendance who were recognized and given certificates of appreciation included Sharon Brown, Victoria Sandvig and Alyssa Zumpano. Guests who assisted in the recognition of the honorees included John Desmone, coordinator of higher education centers for Towson; Sharon Brown, Towson program coordinator; and Alyssa Zumpano, Towson site coordinator.
