David Jamon Robinson, 29, Suitland

David Jamon Robinson, 29, of Suitland died Oct. 24, 2009.

Born Sept. 5, 1980, in Washington, D.C., he was the son of David Wilkinson Robinson and Renee Denise Ferebee.

He was preceded in death by his sister, Tracy Lynette Perkins.

In 2002, he married Kenya Price. They had a daughter, Hannah Tracy Robinson.

He graduated from Suitland High School in 1999. He was later employed by Pitney Bowes and worked as a mail clerk for seven years. He was better known as "B.J." and "Black" to his friends. He was a kind hearted and caring person. He was happy, easygoing and fun-loving. Whenever you saw him he always had a smile on his face.

He was family oriented. He loved going to church and praying. His favorite musical instrument was the tambourine. He attended services at Salvation Ministries in Brandywine. He enjoyed watching his daughter sing in church.

He loved basketball and football, especially playing ball with his family, family reunions and rap and go-go music.

In addition to his daughter, her mother and his parents, he is survived by his brother, Everett Ferebee; grandparents, Philip and Alice Eudora Chisley; nieces, Letria and Jessica Perkins and Niya, Nalan and Avery Ferebee; uncles, Lavon Chisley and Thomas Gerard Chisley; aunts, Eudora Roxanne Chisley and Gynell Chisley; and a host of cousins and other relatives.

Visitation will be held from 11 a.m. until time of service at noon Nov. 6 at Thornton Funeral Home, Pomonkey. Burial will take place at Resurrection Cemetery, Clinton.
