Robert Warren Tucker Jr., 49, Cobb Island

Robert Warren Tucker Jr., 49, of Cobb Island, formerly of Upper Marlboro, died Nov. 3, 2009.

He was self-employed and had a love for football, NASCAR and the beautiful sunsets over his home on Neale Sound.

Born July 5, 1960, in Washington, D.C., he was the son of Judith M. Ruth and stepfather, Michael Ruth of La Plata and Robert W. Tucker; and stepmother, Rena'te C. Tucker of Severn.

In addition to his parents, he is survived by his children, Robert W. Tucker III of Bethesda, Drew R. Tucker of La Plata and Lindsey S. Tucker of Nanjemoy; brother, Steven M. Tucker of La Plata; sisters, Monique J. Tucker of Crofton and Kelly E. Jones of Middletown; wife, Wendy S. Tucker of Nanjemoy; special friend, Dawn Colandrea of Cobb Island; and many aunts, uncles and cousins.

Visitation will be held from 2-6 p.m. with prayers at 4 p.m. Nov. 8 at Arehart-Echols Funeral Home, La Plata, where a service will be held at 11 a.m. Nov. 9. Burial will take place at Cedar Hill Cemetery, Suitland.
