Louis Vest, 76, Waldorf

Louis Vest, 76, of Waldorf died of natural causes Nov. 4, 2009, at home.

Mr. Vest was a founder and previous owner of Raye Vest Corp.

Born Aug. 26, 1933, in Floyd, Va., he was the son of the late Harley Vest and the late Irene Yates Vest.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sons, Douglas Vest and Mark Miller.

He is survived by his wife, Barbara Vest; children, Lewis Jr. and his wife, Diane R. Vest, Virginia and her husband, Alan Hintze, Julie and her husband, Gary Vance, Raymond Vest and Jennifer Adell; 12 grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be held from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Nov. 8 at Huntt Funeral Home, Waldorf. A service will be held at 10 a.m. Nov. 9 at First Baptist Church of Waldorf. The Rev. Wayne Kempson will officiate. Burial will take place at Trinity Memorial Gardens, Waldorf.

Pallbearers will be his grandchildren.
